Thanks for stopping by, I'm Sal the photographer behind Salt and Willow photography. It's not a surprise being the mum of two energetic boys that I have grown to appreciate mothers and all they do. So often in life us mummas are in the background, running around making sure everyone is doing ok and in the chaos of life we slip into the background. We document every moment of our child’s life but we can so easily forget that we are in the moments too. One of my greatest passions is to capture the whole family included you mumma. This isn’t just for you so that you have the memory of your precious little ones around your neck but it’s for your little people too, when the decades go by they will have these memories of your presence, your love long after you have gone.

I love Jesus and am constantly reminded of God's love for us in the beauty that I get to capture, whether that be a newborns tiny feet, the soft rays of light from a sunset, the way brothers wrestle and the way sisters giggle. The beauty of freckles, the wisdom seen in the hands of those who have lived many years, tears of joy and tears of sadness to me these are all precious things and to capture them is such a privilege.

I am based on the Gold Coast and use a range of scenic locations.

I have had the whooping cough vaccination and hold a current blue card.
