Hi there,

Thanks for stopping by, I'm Sal the photographer behind Salt and Willow photography. Nostalgic by nature, I want to capture everything. I love how little details make up a story and how soft golden light mixed with shadows makes everything that more special.

My Family

 I’m a mum to three boys that keep me very busy and I have been married to my husband for 18 years.

My Photography

Over the last 9 years I have moved from Sydney to Brisbane and have settled on the stunning Gold Coast. Along the way I have captured so many milestones in families lives. My style is natural, I really focus on connection and capturing the beauty of your unique family. I will guide you and give you prompts so don’t worry if you feel nervous in front of a camera.

A little bit more 

There are many things that bring my joy, firstly I love Jesus, the beach and all types of food especially if cheese is involved, hello antipasto platter. You will often find me at the beach with a recipe book in hand pouring over incredible food that I’ll probably never make but I love the idea of it. I adore road trips, that feeling of exploring new places refreshes me. We are a van loving family and are current Van is called Benny the Bus and he has taken us on many adventures. I have just invested in a whole lot of camping gear so lets see how that goes. I love farmers markets, they are a weekly highlight for me.   If you choose me to capture your family I will consider it an absolute privilege and I look forward to getting to know you.
