Welcome to the world baby Chase, this session was a lot of fun to capture.

When I first arrived I did my little scout of the house to check for light and areas that will tell this families story. As I walked into the master bedroom my eyes were instantly drawn to the barn door and I knew that I would have to have this in the session. I loved how the rough natural wood with all its character and dominance was such a stark contrast to this beautiful family and their tiny precious newborn.

Sweet Chase brought all that newborn goodness while Ryder his big brother was a little character and didn’t mind the camera at all. I loved seeing how Ryder stepped into his big brother role and helped his mum and dad bath his baby brother and give him lots of gentle cuddles. It’s these sweet little gestures of kindness that make this mothers heart of mine melt and ones that I’m sure Abbey and Troy will treasure.
