Spring bub

Sweet Delilah Blossom, a Spring bub with a Spring name snuggled up in a stunning Spring flower wrap.

I was very excited for this session, Lauren is the clever lady behind Baby Birdie. I first came across Baby Birdie on Instagram and fell in love with the beautiful floral fabrics that Lauren used in her creations. I highly recommend checking out her Instagram page if you have a bub or one on the way.

The day arrived for the session the weather was cloudy with soft rain which created a gentle moody light through the window. Precious Delilah fitted into this family so perfectly, and was loved on so much.

One of my favourite moments of this session came right near the end when Lauren was nursing Delilah and Birdie came into the room, climbed up onto the bed and snuggled up to her mum. She watched with innocent curiosity this new little person that she now has to share her mum and dad with. Her life has changed in a big way and I loved watching how patient and caring Lauren was in making sure Birdie still felt included and precious. This sweet moment only lasted a minute before the energy of a child took over and Birdie took flight jumping with joy all over the bed. These precious fleeting moments are why I am drawn to and love lifestyle photography.
