Ever since moving to Brisbane 6 months ago I have loved driving down streets filled with the iconic Queenslander home. You wont find these in Sydney and unfortunately I didn't end up in one but my good friends did. My friends, being American, were also drawn to the uniqueness of this Aussie dream home. So when they were lucky enough to find themselves in one of these beauties it definitely needed to be documented.
I spent the morning with this sweet family capturing them in the comfort of their own home doing every day things. I followed them as they headed to their favourite coffee shop for brunch and then we strolled down to the wharf to watch the ferries pass by.
The Brisbane Winter is truly beautiful and really lent itself to a relaxing stroll back home, stopping to smell the flowers as we went. This morning wasn't rushed, it was indeed a lazy Saturday morning. The best kind...
